Najprej sem pripravila podlago: dvakrat sem iz belega papirja izrezala ozadje s trikotniki ter oba dela zlepila skupaj. Na levi strani sem med dve plasti naluknjanega papirja zalepila še trak v širini voščilnice, ki sem ga upognila, da sem dobila osnovo za voščilnico.
Sledilo je krašenje, iz škatle s pobarvanimi motivi sem vzela to spimpatično pošast, ki praznuje s koščkom torte. Večino sem pobarvala z barvicami, le za zlate elemente sem uporabila zlato vodeno barvico, ki sem jo nanesla s čopičem.
Poleg zunanjosti sem okrasila tudi notranjost. Predvsem zaradi skice, po kateri je nastala voščilnica, delno pa zato, ker sem na nekaj mestih pokapljala lepilo in so ostale drobne lise. Najlepši notranji okras pa predstavlja senca, ki jo naluknjana prva stranica ustvarja na ozadju.
