V bistvu je voščilnica zelo preprosta. Najprej sem s svinčnikom začrtala mrežo z devetimi polji, nato sem v vsak kvadrat mreže po enkrat odtisnila štampiljko ognjemeta. Štampiljko sem malo obračala, da se odtis ne ponavlja. Nazadnje sem odtisnila še napis "čestitke". Nato sem vse skupaj posula z zlatim reliefnim prahom ter pritrdila z grelno pištolo.
Nekaj težav sem imela z odstranjevanjem ostanka prahu. Pritrdil se je le tam, kjer je bil odtis štampiljke, drobne bleščice pa sem odstranjevala kar nekaj časa (s statično krpo za prah).
