Potem ko sem izdelala poskusni primerek iz odpadnega papirja, sem vzela zelen kartonček ter vanj zarezala ustrezno velikost papirja in ga prepognila na določenih mestih. S pripomočkom za ovojnice sem zarezala dva "zoba" na zgornji rob ter s tem dobila domiselno zapiralo.
Nato sem izdelala še kartonček za notranjost, v katerem se nahaja darilni bon. Žepek je lepo skrit na dnu voščilnice, ko pa voščilnico odpiramo, se ta žepek počasi dviguje iz večjega žepa ter tako razkriva napis ali voščilo. Poleg tega lahko na hrbtno stran napišemo voščilo - tudi zato mi je ta oblika všeč.
Sledilo je krašenje zunanjosti. Že zaradi potreb izdelave voščilnice sem na spodnji strani uporabila washi trak, da drži voščilnico skupaj. Nato sem na zgornje krilo voščilnice ustvarila relief z rezalno šablono, čez pa sem prelepila nekakšno okno s celo vrsto živali, ki radovedno kukajo v notranjost.
