Najprej sem natisnila samoroga, nato sem njega in večino voščilnice zaščitila z maskirnim trakom in post-it lističi. Na nezaščiteni trak voščilnice sem položila šablono s polkrožnimi črtami in senčila s temnejšim odtenkom mavrične barve. S svetlejšim sem senčila ponovno, ko sem odstranila šablono - maskirno zaščito pa sem pustila do konca, ko je bil čas za barvanje. Samoroga sem pobarvala s Copic markerji, na krila in rog sem nanesla malo leska s pisalom v gelu z bleščicami.
