Najprej sem oblikovala in natisnila besedilo v sivi barvi, nato sem podlago premazala z žajbljevo zeleno barvo - najprej v bolj intenzivni barvi, ki sem jo nazadnje še dodobra razredčila ter nadaljevala barvanje.
Večino barve sem nanesla s čopičem, saj sem morala paziti, da ne umažem že napisanega besedila, ki bi se grdo razmazalo, če bi prišlo v stik z vodo. Nazadnje sem vseeno vzela prozorno vrečko ter barvo razmazala še v smooshing tehniki.
Čisto na koncu sem zalepila še križe: na eno sem nalepila pozitiv, na drugo pa negativ izrezka. Dodala sem še nekaj luskic v ustrezni barvi ter pustila, da se posuši.
Vabila se barvno ujemajo s pisanimi pirhi, ki sem jih podarila svoji sestri.
